Rummikub Gameplay
The players should place sets valued 30 points as a minimum in the first move. Points are counted by affixing set numbers. Another name of the first move is ‘initial meld’ (it is not allowed to build upon or manipulate using players’ racked tiles while the initial meld sets on the table). When a player is unable to make an initial meld, or when the player makes a decision to postpone it, his action is to take a tile from the table and affix it to his rack, which contains the player’s turn.

Just one minute is given for each player to make his turn. If during this time the player miscarried to manipulate tiles on the table, then all tiles get back to their first positions, and the player is punished by taking 3 tiles from the tile pool. Remnant tiles (if players don’t remember their initial positions) are confusedly placed in the pool.
Manipulation
Manipulation is done by altering or affixing that are already placed on the table. There are several ways to manipulate sets, but only legal sets can be left, and there mustn’t be any loose tiles remainders.
A sample of manipulation:
1. Player’s tiles on the rack: Blue 4, 6, 7
Tiles on the table: 5, 5, 5, 5 (blue, red, black, orange)
1. The player shifts the blue 5 tile from the group, and makes a run with blue tiles 4, 5, 6, 7. Now there are two sets: a run of 4 tiles (4, 5, 6, 7) and a group of 3 tiles: 5, 5, 5.
It is possible to take the Joker from a set on the table by a player, if he can displace it, during his turn, with a tile of the equal value and color it should represent. This tile may be taken from the table or from the player’s rack. In a group of three tiles a player may displace a joker by either of the failing colored tile.
You shouldn’t take out the joker before the initial meld, and you need to use a displaced joker during your turn, and it can be a part of a new set. A player gets 30 points punishment if the joker is left on his rack at the end of the game.
Scoring and the Winner
A player need to empty his rack and call ‘Rummikub’ in order to win. At that time the other players should affix their tiles values that left on their racks. The score of the winner equals the combined points of all the losing players. The score of each losing player is calculated as a minus score. When the game draws to a close each player has to sum up his or her combined minus and plus scores. The player who has the highest score is the overall winner.
In case when the pool runs out of tiles, each player ‘plays the table’ in turn, and places as a minimum one tile from his rack on the table, till a player finishes. If no player is able to go on, the game ends. In such a play the winner will be the player with the lowest count on his rack.
