Tile Rummy is played in the same manner as how the Traditional Rummy goes about. There has to be a dealer and the extra tile is endowed to the player on his right. The procedure is done in a counter clockwise manner and each player gets the chance to get a card and discard any until such time that each of them only has two stacks. An Overview
The set of tile rummy is made up of 106 wooden tiles in all. From them, 104 pieces bear the colored numbers. The four colors of the tiles are black, blue, yellow, and red. The numbers range from 1 up to 13 and there are two sets of each number while the two other wooden tiles don’t have their numbers written in them. What they typically have are the pictures of the smiling faces. The wooden racks are where the players have to place their wooden tiles during the course of the game.
